What are the primary responsibilities of RAC?

RAC has been entrusted with the prime responsibilities in the recruitment and assessment of scientists at various levels under DRDS cadre. It executes several mission mode programmes under the recruitment category. The centre has high quality infrastructure for conducting multiple Selection Board Meetings, CCTV based monitoring system, video conferencing system and a variety of audio-visual aids. Assessments of Scientists of DRDO for promotion to the next higher grades

Selection of candidates for higher study courses (M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Sc Engg) under Research & Training Scheme of DRDO and Post Graduate Training schemes of Army, Navy and Air Force.
