How can I join DRDO?

One can join DRDO at entry level as Scientist ‘B’ under any of the following schemes:

• Through Scientists Entry Test (SET).
• Through Interview Boards in other subjects not covered under SET. (NON-SET)
• Through Campus Selection from institutions viz. IITs, NITs, IISc, IT BHU, Central University and other premier Institutions.

One can join DRDO through Lateral Entry as Scientist ‘C’, 'D', 'E', 'F' or 'G' through any of the following schemes:

• Through Registration of Students with Scholastic Aptitudes (ROSSA) for Scientist 'C'
• Through Lateral Recruitment for Scientist 'C' and above
• Through Talent Search Scheme ( NRIs) for Scientist 'C' and above
